Do you need access to my water or electricity?
No. Detail by Glenn is fully self-contained. I carry purified water and my own quiet generator, so there’s no need to connect to your outside tap or use your electricity.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Light rain isn’t always a problem, but heavy rain, strong winds or extreme weather can affect the quality of the detail. If conditions aren’t suitable, I’ll contact you to rearrange your booking for the next convenient date.
How long will my detail take?
The time required depends on your chosen service, the size of your vehicle and its condition. As a guide, Signature takes around 3–4 hours, Special 5–6 hours and Showroom 1–2 days. I’ll confirm the expected time when you book.
What areas do you cover?
Detail by Glenn provides mobile car detailing across Surrey, including Tadworth, Kingswood, Epsom, Cobham and surrounding areas. If you’re unsure whether I cover your location, just get in touch and I’ll be happy to confirm.
Do I need to be at home while you work?
No. As long as I have access to the vehicle and the keys if interior detailing is included, you don’t need to stay at home. I’ll treat your vehicle and property with the utmost care and let you know when the detail is complete.
How do I choose between Signature, Special and Showroom?
Signature is ideal for regular maintenance and keeping a well-cared-for vehicle looking its best. Special adds deeper decontamination, paint enhancement and longer-lasting protection. Showroom is the ultimate service, including extensive paint correction and ceramic protection. If you're unsure, send me a few photos of your vehicle and I'll happily recommend the most suitable option.
Can you detail my car at my workplace?
Yes. As long as there is a safe and suitable place to work and permission from the property owner or management where required, I can detail your vehicle at your home or workplace.
How do I book or request a quote?
Simply contact me by WhatsApp, phone, email or through the website. Let me know your vehicle, location and the service you're interested in. Photos are always helpful, particularly for Special and Showroom details.
